A new cultural center is being created in the town of Blankenberg with the Kultur- und Heimathaus. The historic town in the Siegtal valley is known for its picturesque half-timbered houses, medieval castle and idyllic location in the Sieg nature region.

The Kultur- und Heimathaus combines various functions in one place: In addition to event rooms, a tourist information center and an archive, exhibition rooms and an educational garden invite visitors to discover the history of the town. A varied program of permanent and temporary exhibitions will ensure a lively cultural offering and inspire both locals and visitors.

facts and fiction developed the design and communication concept for the permanent exhibition and the temporary exhibition, as well as for the educational garden. The interior design plans for the visitor and service areas are also part of the service portfolio. The design office is working closely with the local community. A workshop with citizens will incorporate the perspectives and wishes of the local population.
