facts and fiction was responsible for the planning, organization and implementation of the G7 Conference of Climate, Environment and Energy Ministers at the EUREF-Campus in Berlin. As a framework contract partner of the Federal Ministry for the Environment (BMUV) and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK), the agency designed an event environment that corresponded to the high-level political exchange on global challenges.
The conference, chaired by Federal Environment Minister Steffi Lemke and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action Robert Habeck, marked a significant step towards joint measures to protect the climate, biodiversity and a sustainable energy supply. One milestone was the commitment of the G7 countries to strive for a predominantly decarbonized power supply by 2035 and to end coal-fired power generation.
The broad responsibility of facts and fiction covered all aspects of the event, including participant management, equipment, production of all print and motion design. Due to the presence of numerous high-ranking political representatives, security was a particularly important part of the event. facts and fiction not only designed the aesthetic and functional environment of the EUREF campus, but also facilitated an intensive exchange in a pleasant atmosphere between the G7 countries and host country Indonesia through bilateral discussion booths.
The conference ended with a press conference at which Lemke and Habeck presented a 40-page final declaration. The conference on the EUREF campus was described as a "strong signal of unity and a commitment to greater climate and environmental protection".
