facts and fiction kicks off the second half of the year with a variety of museum projects!

16/07/2025

The sun is shining, we're drinking Aperol Spritz outside the office and the out-of-office messages are piling up - it's summertime! So it's a good time to provide you with an update from our workshop for stories, spaces and experiences.

In the second half of the year, things are going really well for us when it comes to museums - and not just in Germany, but right across Europe. All the projects have one thing in common: they make history tangible and bring it to life.

We take you on a short tour of the exhibition:

How did the Belgian railroads react to the German occupation during the Second World War - with collaboration or resistance? We ask this exciting question in the new temporary exhibition at Train World in Brussels. It will be launched in autumn 2025 and will spread powerful content across the entire museum space - decentralized, but with a signal effect.

Between steam engine and steel giant: we are currently planning a new permanent exhibition for the Museum of Industrial Culture in an old industrial hall in Nuremberg. A lot of space (3,400 square meters!), a lot of history - and right in the middle: very personal perspectives on 200 years of everyday industrial life. The opening is planned for the end of 2026.

Half-timbered romance meets cultural power: In the town of Blankenberg, the Kultur- und Heimathaus is a place that is an archive, exhibition, educational garden and meeting place all in one. We are responsible for the concept, design and communication - and have already got started with the ground-breaking ceremony in May.

Fancy a journey through time? In the new building of the Natural History Museum in Basel, we tell the story of life on 400 square meters - from prehistoric times to the present day. A huge challenge, but exactly our thing. The design planning is underway and the opening is planned for 2029.

In addition to these four major projects, our traveling exhibition Fake for Real is currently touring Europe - and will soon be on display in Gdansk.

For over 20 years, we have been creating exhibitions that bring knowledge to life and make topics accessible. With everything that goes with it: from scenography and mediation to sustainability.

Whether for your next project, at an exhibition opening or in analog life: We look forward to seeing you again. Until then, stay curious!
