ff – our fall newsletter
A few days ago, Expo 2025 in Osaka closed its doors after six months. We are still filled with the many encounters, conversations and that incomparable Expo feeling. Thanks to everyone who helped design, build, run and visit our pavilions – it was a real fun! As we sort our final impressions and say ‘Arigatō, Osaka!’ once again, we are already looking ahead.
We are taking a lot of new momentum with us from three strong performances in Osaka – for Germany, Austria and the European Union. Because after the final applause comes the next show: the Expo in Belgrade in 2027 has the motto ‘Play for Humanity – Sport and Music for All’.
For us, this is an invitation to take the energy from Osaka with us and create many new and fascinating experiences. Ahead of us lie new tasks, fresh perspectives and collaboration with many bright minds and energetic hands!

We are also delighted about the extension of our framework agreement with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE). In recent years, we have already worked with the ministry to organise several digital summits, the G7 ministerial meeting, the Democracy Festival and open days. For us, the contract extension is more than just a job: it is a sign of trust and an invitation to continue communicating complex content in a way that is understandable, relevant and tangible. After participating in German Unity Day in Saarbrücken, our next projects are the Foreign Trade Day in Berlin and the Annual Regional Policy Conference in Chemnitz.

And: In 2025, three major museum projects were opened, which we had the privilege of designing and implementing:
In Brussels, the special exhibition ‘The SNCB during the occupation. Between collaboration and resistance’ opened at the Train World museum – a multi-layered history of the Belgian railways in the years 1940–1945. It can be visited until the end of June 2026!

In Hanover, the newly designed ‘Art Worlds’ complete the transformation into the World Museum. Together with the Nature Worlds (ground floor) and the Human Worlds (1st floor), the Art Worlds (2nd floor) complete the redesign of the building, which we were privileged to accompany throughout.
Another celebration is still ahead of us: the German-German Museum in Mödlareuth is ready to open on 9 November! The permanent exhibition we designed shows the history of a place that uniquely brings together German-German history. We are looking forward to this special museum opening its doors to everyone soon.
