Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier started a project for all school graduates of the year 2020 whose graduation ceremony had to be cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The aim of the project was to support the classes that were severely affected by the pandemic and to inspire them to take courage for their future.
Together with 74 prominent supporters, the Federal President invited to the digital graduation ceremony 2020 on the website www.abschlussfeier-2020.de and the social media channels of the participants. Behind each photo is a greeting message from the respective person. A special highlight are the videos of the Federal President and Elke Büdenbender.
At the same time as the launch date, the celebrity supporters shared their photos and videos with reference to the campaign via their social media channels (especially Instagram) and called on the graduates to participate and publish their own photos.
By 10 August, about 120,900 interested people had visited the site.
facts and fiction developed a concept for the website, created a new logo and coordinated the web design and programming work.
