By winning the tender for the German Pavilion at the Expo 2020 in Dubai, we are realizing our now eighth country pavilion at a world exhibition. On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy and organized by Koelnmesse GmbH we design and built a pavilion with approx. 4500 square meters. On board: the Swiss construction specialists from ADUNIC and LAVA Architects from Berlin.
CAMPUS GERMANY - the German Pavilion at Expo 2020 presents itself as a place of knowledge, research, exchange and encounter. People can actively participate and experience themselves as part of a large community that is working for a sustainable future.
The exhibition rooms ("labs") attract the attention of the visitors with large immersive installations.
They open the visitors’ perception for sustainable innovations and solutions, conveyed by a multitude of exhibits. The exhibition is committed to the principle of edutainment: Interactive in design, it offers a lot of fun and emotion, but also provides a lot of information. At the theme stations, visitors can experience technical and scientific innovations from Germany in an understandable way.
The opening of the World Expo will take place on October 1st, 2021. Current updates about the Expo and the German Pavilion can be found on our social media channels.
