Communication Designer for Exhibition Graphics and Digital Design (m/f/d)
Some projects aren't just something you design. You experience them. That's exactly the kind of projects we do.
facts and fiction develops exhibitions, museums, expo pavilions, and interactive experiences at the intersection of space, communication, and culture both nationally and internationally. Sometimes highly complex, sometimes completely crazy but almost always with high standards, a strong vision, and a large number of people who want to create something special together.
That’s why we’re looking for a communications designer specializing in exhibition graphics and digital design (m/f/d) to join our team. We’re seeking someone who understands and designs spatial communication from wall wraps, exhibition graphics, and graphic applications in built environments to digital design for media stations, interfaces, and interactive exhibits.
You’re equally at home in both disciplines: analog, spatial graphic design as well as digital design. You approach design in a consistent, unified, and holistic way from the initial concept to its application in a physical space. You have a keen sense of typography, imagery, composition, user guidance, and visual systems.
With us, you’ll work in interdisciplinary teams comprising scenography, architecture, concept development, project management, and production. Together, we develop concepts that not only look good but also make content understandable, engaging, and spatially impactful.
What you bring with you:
A bachelor’s degree in communication or media design
Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma
Excellent German language skills at least at the C2 level
and good English skills.
If you also happen to speak Serbian, you’re our ideal candidate.
We also appreciate your passion for expos, museums, and interactive spaces, your ability to work independently, your team spirit, your creativity, and your desire to contribute to the design process down to the finest details.
We are looking for a permanent addition to our team in Cologne full-time and initially on a one-year contract.
If you're interested in projects that aren't just something to show off later, but ones that inspire stories then we should get to know each other.
We welcome digital applications, including a portfolio, along with your desired start date and salary expectations:
